Following the service, the Sisterhood’s Mitzvah Mania was held during which over 40 beautiful food baskets were made for HAWC (Healing Abuse/Working for Change). This was the Sisterhood’s 3rd annual Purim Shalach Manot Basket Project.

Held on Sunday, March 14th, this was a vendor sellout. In spite of the bad weather, a large crowd attended and you could hear the oohs and ahhs as they viewed the terrific offerings for Bar/Batmitzvahs, Weddings, etc.
A major fund raiser for the Temple, our thanks to Phil Cohen and all those who worked to make this a wonderful event!

Started over 30 years ago at TNT, this annual event brings mentally and physically challenged individuals to the Temple for an outstanding party. This year, over 300 guests attended from well over 25 community homes. Sponsored by the Sisterhood and Men’s Club, the guests are provided with a lunch and music (thanks to a DJ provided by Phil Cohen). This ‘mitzvah’ project is one where ‘we truly get more than we give’.
