Fundraising is a concept as old as the Jewish Religion. Section after section in the Torah refers to offerings made to support the activities of the congregation. Temple Ner Tamid has been very fortunate over the years in having a ‘giving and caring congregation’ which has stepped up whenever called upon. The basic sources of Temple Funding are the annual dues, building fund, donations, Men's Club and Sisterhood pledges and special Fundraising events.
While the Temple relies on the fundraising expertise of the Men’s Club and Sisterhood and are grateful for the generous annual donations, it is necessary to supplement that with annual fundraising events managed by the Temple’s Fundraising committee.
