About Us | Interfaith
Keruv (Outreach)
At Temple Ner Tamid we strive to provide an environment in which interfaith families can feel welcome and are encouraged to participate in all aspects of congregational life.
The Hebrew word keruv means draw near/come together. At Temple Ner Tamid we welcome all Jewish men and women, their non-Jewish partners, and their children as members of our congregation. A number of our most active families are those where only one partner is Jewish. Our Sisterhood and Men’s Club affords non-Jewish spouses the opportunity to join their organization and enjoy all that the Temple has to offer.
