The CONSERVATIVE CONGREGATION of PEABODY

Dear Friends,
We are all pleased that you have visited our web site. Temple Ner Tamid is the Conservative Synagogue, located in Peabody, Ma. We are conveniently located near Rte 1 & Rte 128 and I95. Many of our members are from the surrounding cities and towns. Near us is the only kosher meat market on the North Shore and for those seeking a day school experience, the Cohen Hillel Academy is located only 20 minutes from our building.
We are a full service synagogue with a full time Rabbi and Cantor. Religious school starts with programs from Ketanim (Age 5) and continues through the normal aleph thru hey and then combines with Temple Beth Shalom for confirmation classes. Confirmation age children may also elect to enroll in a Prosdor program. Nursery school is intimate and caring so each child and parent can be special. Our USY youth program is recognized year after year for their award winning programs. Children from all over the North Shore are made welcome in our program. These programs work because of their committees, school, nursery and youth respectively. These committees are open to all members.
Besides Shabbat and holiday services, we have evening minyans and M,Th, Su morning minyans. We offer family services and Junior Congregation and Tot-Shabbat. After the morning service on Sat and Sunday, there are study and discussion groups. Adult Education offers a variety of courses from beginning Hebrew to Adult B'nai Mitzvah.
The Women's League and Men's Club enrich Synagogue life with social and educational programs. They service needs of the synagogue and raise badly needed funds.
We welcome all that wish to join us. We emphasize making interfaith couples feel welcome as a family unit. We welcome you to join Temple Ner Tamid and become an active part of our community. We believe we can enrich your lives and you can enhance our congregational family.
President, Alan Lehman
