Nothing exemplifies caring and community involvement more than the activities of the Social Action committee. Our monthly ‘food barrel’ overflows with food for the needy. Each month the focus us on a different food product.

We recently committed to host the Jewish Food Pantry. While this is managed by the Jewish Federation, we’ve allocated space and a host of volunteers to provide this critical service to members of our community.

Many of our congregants volunteer at a local Hospice. We encourage volunteerism of that type by our members in such events at Cancer Walks. Many of our members work at a soup kitchen in Lynn on Christmas Day.
